Volunteer - Onetime

Volunteer lunch

Met Council offers many onetime volunteer projects for individuals and groups to participate in. If you are interested in helping out or getting your group involved, please contact Kelley Baldwin at 212.453.9675 or kbaldwin@metcouncil.org

Bingo With Seniors
Flexible time and location
Spice up a cold winter afternoon for Met Council's low income senior clients. We are looking for volunteers to help organize and run a bingo game in one of our senior residences. Volunteer duties will include setting up the room, greeting residents, facilitating the bingo game, and - most importantly - socializing with our clients.

Gardening Projects
Springtime: Flexible time and location

Help make a greener community space for low income seniors!  This springtime, Met Council will need volunteers to plant gardens at several of our low income senior residences.  By planting beautiful green spaces, volunteers will ensure that residents have a nice outdoor area for their enjoyment.

Painting Projects
Flexible time and location

Seeking energetic volunteers to help paint rooms used by Met Council staff and clients!  Contact Kelley Baldwin at kbaldwin@metcouncil.org to inquire about availability of painting projects.

Clothing Closet
Evenings and Sundays at 80 Maiden Lane, New York, NY
