Volunteer Appreciation
Met Council honored four of our most outstanding volunteers and gave thanks to all those who donate their time to us at a dinner and awards ceremony on June 22nd at the Soho Photo Gallery.
The Marvin Cohen Volunteer of the Year Award went to Amy Scissons, a branding and marketing volunteer; the Most Dedicated Award went to Manhattan Jewish Experience, a Jewish young professionals group; the Leadership Award to our Food for Life and MVP Committees; and the Most Creative Award to Laurie Cagnassola and Katie Jehenson for their free yoga class for low-income seniors.
